According to margaret Morenus' widows pension application based on the service of her husband, William Morenus:

Margaret's maiden name was Truax, she and William Morenus were married (she said 2/13/1790) proof of marriage was found by the then current Pastor of that church, Samuel Robertson, in the records of the High Dutch Reformed Church of the Town and County of Schoharie with the marriage date of 2/8/1791.

William Morenus died 1/23/1816 in Milford, NY (now known as Oneonta).

On 7/18/1840 Margaret appeared in the Court of Common Pleas of Otsego County to apply for a pension at that time she lived in Oneonta, NY.
In 1855 she reapplied for bounty land - at that time she was living in Delaware County, NY.

One of the testimony letters (written by Jonathan Cutting, a neighbor of William's in Milford/Oneonta) says William was the first Deacon of the First Church in Milford.

Copies of other letters written asking for Rev. War info. about William Morenus were included, they were written:
1899 by Amos D. Blanchard of Oneonta (who describes himself as a veteran of the Civil War)
1906 by Mrs. Katherine M. Perry of Lowville, NY
1914 by the Hon. George W. Fairchild.

No children were mentioned in the application, but Margarets moving from Oneonta to Delaware County is worth looking into - she was in her 80's and might have been living with a son or daughter.
