He wrote his will January 17, 1816 - leaving his estate to his beloved wife Margaret and then to his children in such a way that each son inherits 1/3 more than each daughter - he does not mention any of their names. He named as executors of his will his wife Margaret and his brother Thomas Moranus. It is possible that the surrogate court in Cooperstown - where the will went to probate, might have a probate file that identifies his children by name/location.
