Alice M. HONEYWELL Becomes the Bride of Joseph P. MARTIN, of Rochester
A pretty wedding occurred Thursday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Honeywell of Harpending avenue, when their only daughter, Alice M. Honeywell , was united in marriage with Joseph P. Martin, of Rochester. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. P. J. Bull, of Penn Yan, who was the officiating minister at the wedding of the brides parents.
The house was prettily decorated with hyacinths and sweet peas, the color scheme being pink and white. They were married beneath a canopy of flowers and a wedding
bell, the ring service being used. The bridal party entered the room to the strains of the wedding march played by Miss Helen Wolcott of this village. The bride was gowned in a
dress of ivory satin, trimmed with silver lace, and carried a bouquet of white roses. Her traveling suit was of brown broadcloth, with hat to match. The grooms gift to the bride was a string of pearls.
Mr. and Mrs. Martin received many beautiful presents.
The following guests were present from out-of-town: Mrs. F. Martin, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Henrich, Miss Anna Martin, Fred Schoeneman, Miss May Miles, Miss Elsie Spindler and Miss Viola Florence all of Rochester; Mr. and Mrs. James Bishop, of Rock Stream; Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Finlan of Reading Center. Following the ceremony a wedding supper was served. Covers were laid at the brides table for 10. After a short wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Martin will be at their home in Rochester.
