Genevieve DeForest "Jenny" St.John Hudspeth, 82, of Cheyenne died March 21 at Davis Hospice Center.
Jenny was born July 26, 1927, in Rochester, N.Y., and lived in Cheyenne since 1961.
She spent many years as secretary and bookkeeper for HNB Consulting Engineers.
She was active in the community, volunteering at the First Presbyterian Church and Meals on Wheels.
Jenny was an active member of P.E.O. and enjoyed playing bridge.
Jenny loved to travel. She enjoyed many adventures, from camping trips to exotic voyages overseas with her loving husband and traveling companion. Jenny was a survivor of the 1989 United Flight 232 crash in Sioux City, Iowa; despite this, she continued to travel. She also enjoyed hosting other travelers.
Jenny is survived by her husband of 49 years, Vealess Hudspeth; three daughters, Janet St. John and husband, Daniel, of Denver, Elizabeth Lack of Cheyenne and Sue Bryce and husband, Arthur.
She is also survived by two grandchildren, Hailey St. John and Ashlyn St. John of Denver; her sister, Marion Graham of Dresden, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
Jenny was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
