The best advice that I can give is this. 1. The Rochester Public Library has large (and I do mean LARGE - they are very heavy) books of news clips filed by name, which I believe cover 1909-1969. They have not been digitized, and you would have to contact them via their ask-a-librarian service and ask them to check in them. They were going to be digitized, but have not been to the best of my knowledge (I was the person in charge of that 10 years ago, but am now retired and live out of town as well). 2. The city archives on Andrews St. has booking info again in scrapbooks. I believe that there is only one person working there, so you might have to wait for a reply. Still, it's work a letter, call, or email if you can find that. Because of NY state's privacy laws they may not ever be online.
