We are interested in information about George Moore (miller) and Jeremiah Moore (laborer) who are listed as living at 140 Buffalo, Rochester, NY in 1840 directory. The 1840 census lists them as separate families with children.
Jeremiah, if he is indeed ours, would have been married to Martha Morgan (meets the age brackets for family)
1. son, Richard M. Moore born Jan 1840, Canada West,
2. daughter, Esther Moore is alleged to have been born in Rochester, NY in 1842.
3. daughter, Eliza Jane Moore, is alleged to have been born Oct. 1844, Cavan Township, Victoria County, Ontario, Canada.

It appears George remained in the United States.
We think his family is still shown in 1850 census in Rochester as:

Daughter, Jennie Moore, Born 1860, NY-parents US birth
1880: Margaret Moore, born about 1832, Ireland
Jennie Moore, (daughter) born abt 1860, NY

Trying to find anyone who knows where Jeremiah came from. DNA indicates a connection to the Moher family of County Cork, Ireland.
