Daniel Hawes married Charlotte Chappel, probably in the mid 1830s in Monroe Co., NY, near Rochester. The seven children whose names we know are Mary E. (b. 1840), George (b. 1844), Mathilda J. (b. 1847, may have been called Jennie), Frank J. (b. 1849), Matilda Marie (b. 1853, may have been called Mattie), Rachel "Nettie" (b. 1856), William (b. 1859), and Harriet "Hattie" (b. 1862). Daniel and Charlotte died in 1885 and 1912, respectively.

I would like any information on this family, and would like to meet relatives. My wife is a descendant of Nettie, who Married John Pyne in about 1885 and lived in Buffalo, then San Francisco after the 1906 earthquake.
