Do you have a birth date for Mary Jane Jamieson? My Ellsworth was born around 1881-1883.

Using the 1920 and 1930 census I have been able to determine that Ellsworth's parents were Isaac Jamieson and Annie Ackroid. The info said that Isaac was born New York and Annie was from Indiana.

If you can find some parent info on Mary Jane Jamieson then maybe we'd be able to make a connection.

My grandmother and great aunt believe that Ellsworth (who was their father) had a sister and possibly another brother. I will try to run this name by my Great Aunt when I see her at Thanksgiving. Unfortunately my grandmother has begun to lose her long term memory.

Does your family lore say what happened to Mary Jane when she was orphaned? Any idea who took her in?
