death certs filled out by the grieving who may never have had the correct info to start with. a marriage license app, however, would have info provide by himself, also military records, if any. without birth certs, credit cards, license, etc, ages were flexible-particularly since the person answering the enumerator question could have been a sibling, neighbor, etc. did he have a wife? how were u sure you had the correct edward cooper?
did his death cert list occupation? what did it say for informant name?
