purrfect meow,

Using the info found on Ancestry will lead you to the exact info you need to order a free copy from the Photoduplication Service at Family Search.

You need the FHL film number and title which you find by going to Family Search Catalog. Type in place "United States, New York, Kings, Brooklyn".. Go down to Vital Records (9). Choose "New York, Brooklyn, marriage certificates, 1866-1937". Scroll down until you find the right year and certificate number, 1882 and 2325. Your film number is 1544215.

Ancestry uses the indexes at the Italian and German Genealogy Groups; these indexes are also found at Steve Morse's One-Step Webpages, all free. Steve Morse site also gives you the film number (but not the title) which is quicker than using the procedure above.

Gizella and Stefan cert # is 19349 but you will search for Manhattan Marriages rather than Kings.
