Thanks for the tips. I'm so glad they lived long enough to be on census records that held more info that name, age, and occupation. I will be checking the NJ archives page and familysearch after work today. Pretty excited about it. I have a few who died just before civil records became commonplace; they can be tough, especially if they weren't church goers or land owners.
