this is in regards to Calvary Cemetery.
I don't know a lot about the cemetery but I am discovering a lot of my ancestors are buried there..
This is not a question about someone who is buried there but about someone who is associated with the cemetery back in 1890..
Would anyone know anything about a JOHN JOSEPH BENNETT??.
I am trying to figure out who he was, so I guess it would be an historical question.. and it would be a big help if anyone could direct me where to look for any information about this person.. As it is, I can find nothing about him...
He might be associated with St. Vincent Ferrar Church. His name is listed on a few baptismal document from 1885-1889 for a few ancestors of mine. They are next on my list to ask..
According to Calvary Cemetery, he donated several pieces of family plots to others who are buried in Calvary. My ancestors are related to Joseph Dillon (Painter) from that time period and Calvary tells me the plots they are buried in were purchased by a John Jos. Bennett, back in 1879. I have not found any relationship to a Bennett family and unable to figure out who he might have been. And Calvary has no information on him ..
Can anyone help me or direct me where to look??
Thank you..
