MRS. LOIS LALONE, CARTHAGE DIES IN LOCAL HOSPITAL

Mrs. Lois Lalone, 58 South James street, Carthage, died at the Mercy hospital at 6:25 this morning after an illness of several weeks of pneumonia. Mrs. Lalone was brought to the hospital Jan 9.

Mrs. Lalone was born in Harrisville and went to Carthage 30 years ago, where she had since resided. She was the wife of John Lalone. Besides her husband she is survived by seven sons, Fred, Floyd, Lewis, Leo all of Carthage; Henry of Harrisville and John of Wolcott, four daughters, Mrs. Theodore Abrams, Mrs. Florence Robinson, Mrs. Mary Spencer and Miss Dorothy LaLone, all of Carthage; three brothers, Joseph Denicia of Gouverneur, Charles Denicia of Carthage, George Denicia of Theresa, and two sisters, Mrs. Cora Luther of Spragueville and Miss Emma Denicia, address unknown.

Funeral services will be held from the home of a sister, 238 Spring street, Friday afternoon at 2, Rev. Walter J. Wilmshurst, pastor of the Carthage Methodist church, officiating. The body will be placed in the vault at Carthage to await burial in the spring.
