Seeking the parents of Abigail Bennett, b. in Herkimer Co. on 11 May 1822. She married in Manhiem to Harvey Renssaeler Merriman on 3 Jun 1839, and d. in Pomona, CA on 27 Feb 1923. He was a graduate of the Fairfield Medical Scholl. I have locked onto a Joseph Bennett and his wife Fanny Seely, but can not locate a document that cionnects daughter to Father. Help! Have tried Census Records [both Federal and State}, and also Local Probates. It seems that this Joseph may have d. about 1862 in Livingston Co, NY.
