Looking for further info and descendants of Hiram Wells of Town of Benson Hamilton County listed in 1830 and 1850 census of Town of Hope (Benson) and as Horace Wells in 1860 census of Benson. He married maybe 1823-5 to Mary Eglin, daughter of John Eglin and Catharine Dods of Benson. Known children Harriet born c 1828 and Angelica born c 1838. There were more.
Hiram may have died between 1860 and1870 as “a” Mary Wells age 65, is listed in the 1870 census of the Town of Broadablin Fulton County. Mary was buried in Green Hills cemetery, Town of Amsterdam Montgomery County as Wells, Mary Eglin wife of Hiram b 1-08-1802 d 5-12-75
