I also found a newspaper article from 1888 that Eliza Southworth and her son Orson and his wife visited Wheaton Southworth, Jr. I checked Wheaaton Southworth, Sr's will last time I was in Genesee and he left everything to his wife Peggy (Martha) Gifford Southworth. I failed to check her will. I am going up there next month and will do that. I will let you know what I find.
I am convinced that Wheaton Southworth Sr. was Henry D. Southworth's farher, but I like to have solid documentation and his mention in Peggy's will would clinch it.
