I am trying to locate any information on my maternal great grandparents, John
>and Margaret Healy, who resided in the Darien area some where between 1840's -
>70's. I am not certain of their first names, however I know my great
grandfather
>was employed as Yard Master for either the New York Central or Erie
Railroad, In
>the Darien area, Genesee County. They had 4 children that I know of, Ella, who was my
>grandmother, Margaret, Alice and Edward who were twins. All the children
>migrated to Buffalo, NY.at some point My grandmother married a man named
>William Reynolds, who was from Rochester, but to my knowledge they lived
there
>entire married life in Buffalo. Edward Healy, became a Medical Doctor and
>practiced in Buffalo. My Grandmother, passed away in 1949, and was in her
early
>80's, so I assume her birth would have been some time in mid 1860's - early
>1870's. I had heard mentioned that my great-grandfather had a sister
living in
>Darien, who was widowed at a young age and did have children, I do not
know her
>married name. I checked your Town Clerks office awhile ago and she had no
>record, on the Healy's. I am living in Connecticut so it is not easy for
me to
>get back to trace my ancestors. If you or you Town Historian have any
>information on this and would share it with me it would be wonderful. If not
>perhaps you could advise me how to trace further.
>
> Thank You
