I'm looking for information on the family of John and Elizabeth (Dunn) Reed, who lived in Saratoga, Fulton, and Orleans counties, NY circa 1800 - 1870. John Reed was born around 1780, possibly in Connecticut, and he died in 1873
in Orleans county, NY. Elizabeth (Dunn) Reed may have been born in Scotland, and she died in 1861 in Broadalbin, Fulton county, NY, where she is buried.

John and Elizabeth had at least 12 children (I've listed those that I know the most about in age order; the other children are in no particular order and may in fact be older than the ones that appear first).

Alonzo S. Reed, b. 1823 in Saratoga co., NY, d. 1896 in Orleans co., NY, married Ann Griffin.
Nancy Reed, (?-?), married ? Griffin.
George Reed (?-?)
Mary Reed (?-?), married ? Hawley.
Henry Reed (?-?)
Nelson Reed (?-?), moved to West Seneca, Erie co., NY in 1844.
John Reed (?-?)
Matilia Reed (?-?) married ? Yager.
Unnamed Male Reed (?-?), who was "killed by a tree at a wood bee".

They lived in the town of Providence, Orleans county, NY until sometime after 1830, after which they moved to Fulton county, NY and finally to Orleans county, NY. I descend from their son James Reed, who moved with his wife and children from Orleans county, NY to Jackson county, MI in 1861.
