Please tell us the names of the 3 children born in St. Remi, and the approximate years this family was in Canada. Have you found them in the 1881 census?
Also why did Thomas DIBBLE & Alice [Elise] BEAN [LEFEBVRE] move, (or move back?) to St. Remi?
There were many LEFEBVRE families in & near St. Remi, judging by the 5 pages of LEFEBVRE marriages in Pontbriand's "Mariages de Comte de Napierville 1823 - 1970." Two other indexes [repertoires] for that area also have numerous LEFEBVRE marriages: One is for Laprairie parish, 1670 - 1968, and the other is for the County of Laprairie, 1751 - 1972 [for 14 other parishes].
We'd be happy to look up any LEFEBVRE in those 3 repertoires [also the Dibble / Daybles / other spellings] for you, if that would help. Just let us know.
