Classification: Query
Surnames: KREMER, KRAMER, KRAEMER
It could be the surname KREMER was spelled Kramer or Kraemer once they arrived on U.S. soil. I've had ancestrydotcom for years and found 23 variations, misspellings or sloppy handwriting that was written every which way for my HIMMELSBACH's. What info do you have for Henry Kremer? I need his birth year to find any info on him.
Henry Kraemer 1905 Buffalo Census age 71, in U.S. 65 Yrs. from Germany. He became a citizen. Write to NARA to get his citizenship papers. https://www.archives.gov/
Through the decades Germany and France were at war. 1871 in Alsace which was part of France was defending itself from Germany. That's why my g-gpa emigrated from Riedseltz to USA. Buffalo records may hold his citizenship papers.
