He helped his father with the businesses, mentioned below, which was located in Chelsea, Orange County, Vermont. I have acquired a business ledger that Arthur kept for his father, which had been sold, at some point, in a box-lot at a Buffalo, New York auction. Also have picture of Perley William ROGERS, with some other family members, standing out front of the house/shop in Chelsea, Vermont.


"P. W. ROGERS's wagon shop, shingle-mill and planing-mill, located on Main street, on the Second branch of White river, was established in 1876.
