Hello Roy,
To clarify, the William Jeudevine/ Judevine that I am talking about is the one who married Patience Grout in 1759. According to the Mass Town Records William and Patience had these children:
Calvin b. 1760, William b. 1765, Patience b. 1771, Cornelius b. 1776, Luther b. 1778
Where do you see that a William Jeudevine had a daughter named Jane Rogers? I am not finding that. This would be of prime interest to know first. If William who married Patience Grout had a daughter named Jane Rogers then it would imply a connection.
In the MA town records it lists a Cornelius Judevine who married Mary White (1728) and a Cornelius Judevine who married Jane Rogers (1735). I have assumed that these would both be the same Cornelius Judevine since the name was not very common. I can't know this though.
In the MA town records there is listed a Jane Judevine who married Ephraim Doane in 1753. I had thought it likely that Jane Judevine would have been of the same generation as William Judevine who married in 1759. However I gather you are saying that this Jane Rogers was actually the widow of Cornelius Judevine. So couldn't she have also been the mother of my William Juedevine whom you say had a daughter named Jane Rogers?
