Does anyone know what became of Van Slyke and Notter's shipyard, which was building ships in the mid-late 1800s in Buffalo?

Can anyone do a census lookup for any of the years 1890 forward and check who was living at 107 College St. in Buffalo? I am particularly interested in Elizabeth McGowan, her daughter Sarah E. (married name unknown), any children and Sarah's spouse.

Was there a flu epidemic at the end of 1889? Or could my information be wrong and was it possibly 1869?

Thanks for any help.
