Classification: Query
Surnames: Martin, Buckwalter
Thanks for all that research. Here is what I have on this:

Samuel G. Martin
Father: David Herr Martin
Mother: Susanna Groff
Birth: Sep 19, 1775 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Death: Aug 02, 1845 in Clarence Center, Erie, New York
Burial: Clarence Center, Erie, New York; Cox Cemetery

Mary Rutt [Parents unknown]
Birth: Feb 15, 1777 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Marriage: 1796 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Death: Aug 28, 1797 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Children: Michael Martin

Susanna Buckwalter [Parents unknown]
Birth: Mar 16, 1778 in Pennsylvania
Death: Aug 28, 1848 in Clarence Center, Erie, New York
Marriage: 1798 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Burial: Clarence Center, Erie, New York; Cox Cemetery
Children: John B. Martin
Fanny B. Martin
David B. Martin
Samuel B. Martin
Susanna B. Martin
Harriet B. Martin
Martha B. Martin
Nancy B. Martin
Solomon B. Martin

Possible parentage:

Frantz & Magdalena Weber Buckwalter (A Susanna is not specifically mentioned in Frantz' will)

Abraham & Barbara Newcomer Buckwalter (If this were the case.. Samuel and Susanna's son, David B. Martin, married the daughter of John and Maria Brennaman Buckwalter, Magdalena Buckwalter. John Buckwalter would be Susanna Martin's brother. That would make David B. Martin and Magdalena Buckwalter first cousins. In Abraham's will, it attests to his having only 5 children; Susanna is not mentioned as one of them. This parentage is not likely.)

Henry & Barbara Cassel Buckwalter (Susanna is not listed in Henry's will as one of his children.)

Susanna B. Martin could also be a descendant of one of the immigrant Buckwalter sons outside of Lancaster County: Jacob or Johannes Buckwalter. (This is unlikely.)

Abraham & Maria Landis Buckwalter are not possible parents of Susanna Buckwalter Martin. Their daughter, Susanna, was married to Martin Herr and they had 10 children together. There is proof of this in Abraham's will.
