Please can someone jog my memory?
I have been away from Hyde Park since 1976...and can not for the life of me remember the name(s) of 3 churches right in the Village. They are the following;
1) A blue colored church on a corner...if coming from Poughkeepsie it would be on the right...caddie corner to the Town Hall?
2) A small white colored church on East Market Street...behind the Hyde Park Motors business. (It was next door to my great grandparents home, Samuel and Lulu (Hall) Rogers, until their home was torn down.) It looked more like a chapel than church....
3) A white colored church across from The Hyde Park Diner. It was very close to the street if I remember correctly. It may have had a bright red door also.
