Looking for information on “Negro/Mulatto “Jordan Holland b. abt 1824 in Franklin County, Virginia. He enlisted as a solider in the Civil War Colored Troop September 7, 1864 with the 18th US Infantry. He was listed as a deserted by returned to his company, desertion forgiven (do not know why) pay was resumed and he was given his back pay as well. He may have continued to live in Fulton Missouri where his military record indicates he was during the Civil War. I’m trying to locate a mother/father/spouse.
