Thanks for this info. Could you tell me where it came from. I suspect a newspaper. It ties in with what I have got from a marriage application. Harris Edson's first wife gave him a divorce but it stated that he could not remarry in New York State. It appears from you info that the went to PA to live but applied for a marriage cert in NJ.

Place of birth for Grace is all over the place depending on wht document you read but can not find her birth in Canada.

I thank you very much this clears up a lot of what the heck was going on.
