I'm looking for more information on Robert A Walden b. ca. 1778, his son Alexander and wife Luisa H. Walden. (there is death information on Louisa and the daughter Sarah).
Son Frederick A Walden b. 1805 turns up in New York City and Brooklyn as a sailmaker. Frederick A is my 3rd gr grandfather. I can only find Robert in the 1800 and 1840 census. I wonder if there was a sailmaking connection in Hudson city. The most common variation in the spelling of the last name is Waldron. If anyone has any idea of sources to search or has information on these people please contact me here or at my regular email.
