All I have in the way of any proof is my grandmother Josey's family data records she collected. I am still trying to verify most of what I have. Some of my records have already be proven valid by other family members. However due to the lack of "valid" records for anything spelled out in black in white for a woman prior to 1850, other than the occasional land record, there isnt much to go on. Tracking a woman back then just did not seem a real priority as they are only counted as an age group, making real *hard evidence* a thing of "LUCK" if you should find something. I am still working on this family, and have been for the last 8 months. Should I come across something more concrete I will let you know.
Thanks for the correction for Jesse T. Cole. I will fix that in my records. I had actually had the initial in papers as a B. until I found the one from census showing it to be the E.
