Jamestown Post Journal: Monday: 3/9/1987: Lisa Lynn Smith, 19, of West Oak Hill Road, Jamestown, died at 11:45 p.m. Friday (March 6, 1987) in an auto accident on Sawmill Run Road, in the town of South Valley. She was born October 19, 1967, in Jamestown, a daughter of Robert P. and Trudy A. Starstrom Smith. Miss Smith was baptized at Immanuel Lutheran Church and was a past member of Star Spurs 4-H Club. In 1984 she was voted, Miss Fluvanna and she attended Jamestown Public Schools until 1983. She was a 1985 graduate of Maple Grove Central School and was a fulltime student at Jamestown Business College and part-time secretary at Rowley-Smith Insurance Co. Besides her parents, surviving are a brother, Sgt. Troy D. Smith of Ft. Benning, Ga.; her maternal grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Sten Starstrom of Jamestown; and her paternal grandmother, Mary E. Smith of Dewittville. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Gilbert S. Smith. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Harley G. Rusch, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 today in the funeral home.
