I am looking for more information on the Howig/Hoag family.
I have found Maggie Belle Howig (see the Deakins/Seekings post prior). Her father was William Alonzo* Howig born 1854 - N.Y. William was married to Clara Larkins b. 1855 Ohio.
William's parents were Seneca b about 1812 N.Y. d. July 20, 1881 & Lydia "Lena" Ann Haight b. July 28, 1810 N.Y. d. Jan. 10, 1892. They spelled their last name HOAG.

* There is some association with Alonzo Flagg Sr. of Stockton. William lived with this family in Stockton before he married. Not sure if there is a family connection or not.

There is incorrect data in the cemetery data as it states both Seneca & Lydia were born in Galen, Niagara County. There is no Galen there but rather in Wayne County. There are many Hoag's there as well as Haights.

Any further information on Seneca & his family would be greatly appreciated.
