Fred Vandercoy, 66 of the Town Line Road, Sherman, a dairy farmer here for 40 years, died in his home at 8:15 P.M. Saturday.
He was born in Clymer, Oct 17, 1891, the son of Rynder and Hannah Damcott Vandercoy. He was a member of the Abbe Reformed Church of Clymer.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Pearl Pelton Vandercoy; two sons, Rev. Pelton Vandercoy of Gauley Ridge, W. Va., and Roger Vandercoy of Elgin, Pa.: three grandchildren; three brothers, Walter and Ray of Clymer and Frank of East Bethany; one aunt, Mrs. Cena Wassink of Clymer and a brother-in-law, Albert Wassink of Falconer.
Funeral services will be held at 12 P.M. Tuesday, in the Spitzer Funeral Home, Sherman, with Rev. Victor Stouffer, pastor of the Sherman Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Sherman Cemetery.
