I am trying to find the death date of my g-g-grandfather, George E. WOOD who moved from CA to Jamestown, Chautagua, NY in 1869. He died sometime after 1883. I believe he had family in Jamestown. An interesting note, he worked for John BIDWELL in Chico, CA. John was born in Jamestown.
