Surnames: Martin
I am looking for information about a Nathaniel Martin born abt 1808 in Aurelius, which part of later became Fleming. I believe he is related to, and possibly a child of either Joseph Martin or John Martin, also of Aurelius/Fleming. John Martin is the father of Joseph Martin, but their birthdates work out that Nathaniel could be the child of either one. He is on the 1830 census next door to them, and on 1820 and 1810 censuses, John has listed a son that is the same age as Nathaniel.
Nathaniel Martin married Almena MNU in Cayuga county about 1828, and had atleast one child there, and then moved to Troy Twp. and Southfield, Oakland County, Michigan around 1831.
Nathaniel Martin moved to Salem, Washtenaw County, Michigan between 1850-1860, where he died about 1886.
Other children of John Martin, including William Martin, Betsy Martin Graves and Rev. John Martin, Jr. also moved to Oakland County, Michigan.
Please help me connect my Nathaniel to his Cayuga County family!
