Our family story says that Melissa (nee Reynolds) Warren died tragically in an accident on 10 Oct 1856 in Machias. She was abt 32 years old and had five young children including a baby. Her husband was Lucius Platt (L.P.) Warren and they lived in Machias. Would someone please tell me what newspaper I should research that would cover an accident in Machias on 10 Oct 1856?
