I think you may be right, and whoever wrote the obituary was just mistaken. It was the first clue I had to where Eleanor may be from, and for some reason those are always hard for me to give up. LOL I found some Washington Co probate records on FamilySearch, and found zero Pickets at all.

I'll move my search to just the Great Valley area. I have found one prominent Picket family there, but no mention of Eleanor so far that I have found.
