Have not found 1920. G.W. married Francis Norton that year. Daughter Minnie Carolyn born 1921 in PA. Son John Thomas born in 1924 in Florida.

Francis Norton Phillips married 10 or 11 times, G.W. was just the first. Mostly divorced, but widowed a few times also. His mother died definitely in Feb 1924. That's the same year his son was born and he apparently abandoned his wife and daughter and baby son. Daughter Minnie Carolyn went by Carolyn; died in 2004. Son John Thomas died in 1998. Both kids raised and died in Florida. Francis died in Florida in 1979. G.W., that's the mystery. Thanks so much for your help!!

He would probably have either stayed in Florida, or maybe gone back to NY, or to PA... George W. Phillips is such a common name, it's frustrating.
