I am looking for someone with access to the 1900 Broome County census. I need to get the listing for MATHEW QUINN ( born 1869 in NY ) and all other household members. The 1900 index states he is listed in the 10th ward Binghamton on reel # 1009, page 82.

Does it happen to mention the ED? That might make things a little easier when working with the 1880 or later census records.

There was no mention of ED's, just film # and page #.

Did things the hard way, but found him

Quinn, Mathew head of household, age 30, b. July 1869 marr 5 yrs born NY, par born Ireland and NY.

Wife Mary age 31, born Aug? 1868, 2 kids, both alive, born Ireland, parents both born Ireland. Came over in 1882 and has been here 17 years.

Kids are Francis F? male age 4 born april 1896 in NY and Sarah M, female, born Dec 1898 also born NY. Both have parents born NY and Ireland.

Living with them is Lydia Brooks, age 78, a widow, who had 8 kids and 4 are still alive. Also in the house is her dau, Hattie Butterfield, age 31, also widowed and Hatties only child, Harry, age 9.
