KING - Ashley Elaine Wanatt, 21, left her home here and went to her new home in
Heaven on Saturday, June 6, 2009.
Funeral Services Celebrating her Life will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at
Calvary Chapel of the Triad in Kernersville.
A native of
Broome County,
New York, she was the daughter of Theresa Alice
Buchler and John Allison Wanatt, II of the home.
Ashley was an avid collector of "
Cabbage Patch Babies", and she also loved to collect Bibles. She was a bundle of energy from the moment she awakened, until she lay down at night to sleep. Her cheerful demeanor, and friendly greeting, melted the hearts of everyone who knew her.
Survivors include her parents, Theresa "Terry" and John A. "Jack" Wanatt, II of the home; sister, Leslie of the home; brother, Nicholas of Raleigh; maternal grandmother, Lucille
Buchler of Owego, NY; and paternal grandparents, John A. and Marilyn T. Wanatt of Susquehanna,
Pennsylvania.
