Brian, I have only that "my" Mary Gerity was born ca. 1840-50, probably Switzerland, married Dennis KNITTEL, probably in Switzerland. Their daughter Maria (aka Mary) b. 5 April 1867, Switzerland; md. 20 April 1928 @ Bronx, NY to Anton WALTER. Maria's death certificate gives her birthplace & parents' birthplace as Switzerland.
