Can any one tell me when the ORPHAN TRAINS stopped in the ALLEGANY ---WHITESVILLE, INDEPENDENCE /
STEUBEN --- JASPER, CANISTEO areas. My grandfather and his brother came from NEW YORK CITY to these areas that way and I can't find out when. It would have been in the early 1900's. Thanks Nan
