I suspect that these people were in Allegany Co NY as part of the Seventh Day Baptist migration. Allen and Lewis are common surnames in this church. Do you know where in SD? The SDB Church published several papers one being the Sabbath Recorder. I believe Alfred Univ. has it on microfilm and I believe it is indexed.
