Hmmm. There is a Patrick Connors with wife Mary in the 1892 NYS Census, living in Watervliet. They do not have a son William, however, only: Thomas b. 1883, Edward b. 1884, Mary b. 1886, John b. 1887, Elizabeth b. 1889, and Joseph b. 1891.

There is a family tree on ancestry with this family identifying Mary as Mary A. Finnegan.

I found an obituary for the above Patrick Connors (d. 1913) but it only says born in Ireland.
