I am trying to locate the correct William Leroy that left New York for Louisiana, sometime between his birth (in around 1854) and a marriage to an Evelina Hebert, which took place in 1875( in Lafayette, Louisiana)...he returned to New York between 1875 and 1900. Just curious to know any info about him and what came of him-he is a missing link in my family tree.--- Anyone out there missing a William Leroy around the 1870's -i might have your guy...?
