Sure thing. Which of Vera's brothers was your dad?
I have a copy of Vera and John's marriage license and I also have read some letters he wrote to her both during and after their divorcem and a letter from one of his sisters to Vera. He was a wealthy man, an entreprenuer, but many years older than Vera. She was 40 when they married and he was 70. It only lasted a few months, their marriage, so I'm not surprised your mom didn't know about that marriage.
