The Socorro newspapers 1891-1902 and 1884-1888 and 1902-1908 are available for free at the Library of Congress, Chronicling America.

You'll find information about Socorro County Cemeteries, http://nmahgp.genealogyvillage.com/socorrow/cemeteries.htm.

Original records before 1912 are at the New Mexico State Record Center & Archives.

The Socorro County Clerks office has probate records but my source says they start in 1912 which might be an error. I'd contact them and ask.
