George Billy, 100, of Lake Valley, died Feb. 22, 2004, at Crownpoint Hospital. He was born Jan. 10, 1904, in White Rock.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004, at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Chapel of Farmington.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute St., Farmington, (505) 325-8688.

George Billy, 100, of Whiterock/Lake Valley, passed away, Sunday, Feb. 22, 2004. He was born Jan. 10, 1904, in Whiterock. He was of the Bit?ahnii clan, born for Dzil tl?ahnii clan.
He was a rancher, cowboy, railroad worker, miner, forest ranger, councilman, chapter president, construction worker, traditional practitioner and traditional helper.
He is survived by his wife, Annie K. Billy; sons, Lorenzo Billy and wife Anita, Haskell Billy and wife Arola Brandi; daughter, Beatrice Arviso, Bessie Gilmore, Ida Zhonnie, and Annabell Billy; sister, Julie Manuelito and Rose Sandoval; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Mary C. Billy; sons, Leo Billy, Teafilo Billy and Edison Billy; daughter, Rosemary Pablo; sisters, Alice Juan, Mary Jeff Gonzales and Mary S. Charlie.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., today, Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004, at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Chapel with the Rev. Don Corley officiating. Burial will follow at the family cemetery in Whiterock.
