I hope you might be able to assist me. I live in the UK and am rather unfamiliar with US genealogy. I am keen to locate a regular visitor to New Jersey State Archives, as I require an original copy of a marriage record rather quickly. For a thesis I am writing (with a tight deadline for the first draft to be checked), I require a copy of the original record of a marriage which took place in Jersey City, Hudson County, NJ, on the 29th August 1894. This was between Charles E Burroughs and Victoria B G Hill. I located reference to it on FamilySearch, but desperately need a copy of the original record. Are there any regular visitors to the NJ State Archives who might be able to assist? I have been advised that this might be the quickest way of getting a copy. Many thanks in anticipation.
