I think the Wyble name is probably German origin but the Wyble name itself is a common old name in the same area of NJ where the Lenape were from. Perhaps if you posted on a Wyble message board you could gain more information on the name. Or you could try to find your grandfather on a census and find out who his parents were and work from there to try to figure out if his grandmother was a Lenape.
