I amy be showing my disorganization but here goes ---

Andreas Lerch and son Anthony came from Langenselbold, Germany (NW of Frankfurt-am-Main) to Lower Saucon Twp. (now Northampton Co. but then Bucks Co., PA) in 1738 in which year Andreas died. Anthony married Margaret Lauer and had the following sons: Johannes, Anthony jr., Nicholas, Frederick, and Peter. His will was probated in 1793.

I have a notation that one of Anthony's sons went to West Jersey.

Andreas, Jr. (1750-1798) married Anna Walsh. Daughter Catharine baptized at Old Williams in 1775. Then I have nothing on them until 1783 when twins Anton and Elizabeth were born. The next year Isaac was born and then in 1789 the name Anton was been reused. Wilhelm was born in 1793. These last five children were born baptized at Lower Saucon, but my information says that Anthony died in 1798 and was buried at Greenwich Presbyterian (not Luteheran!) Church near Bloomsbury. (That sounds like NJ to me.)

His will confirms that he lived in NJ at the time of his death: "In the name of God, Amen, I, Anthony Lerch of Grenwich in the County of Sussex and the State of New Jersey . . "

I believe this area of New Jersey later became Warren Co.
